In order to benefit from the services offered by our campsite, we ask that you carefully read the following general conditions. These conditions govern the sale of stays and are valid at the time the booking is made. By booking a stay, you fully accept our general terms and conditions.
Booking Conditions
A booking becomes effective once a 30% deposit has been received and either the completed and signed booking form has been returned, or the general terms and conditions of sale have been accepted during online booking.
Bookings only bind the campsite if the campsite has accepted them. The campsite is free to accept or refuse bookings based on availability or, more generally, any circumstances that may hinder the execution of the requested booking.
The campsite offers stays aimed at families in the traditional sense, and the accommodation is specifically designed for this purpose. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any booking that would be contrary to this principle or that seeks to circumvent it.
Booking a pitch or rental accommodation is strictly personal. You may not sublet or transfer your booking under any circumstances without prior consent from the campsite.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Rental Accommodation
The rental accommodations are equipped. The basic package accommodates 2 to 4 persons, depending on the type of rental.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to groups or families exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation.
Prices and Tourist Tax
The prices indicated are valid for the 2025 season. They correspond to a per night rate, inclusive of VAT, and are stated in euros.
The tourist tax is €0.20 per adult per night.

Payment Terms
For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the total price must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start date, full payment is required at the time of booking (30% deposit + remaining balance).
If the deposit is not paid at booking or the balance is not settled at least 30 days before the start of the stay, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the booking and make the accommodation available again.
NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the campsite informs its clients that the sale of accommodation services provided for a specific date, or over a defined period, is not subject to the 14-day withdrawal period.
Cancellation and Modification
Modification of your booking
Clients may request changes to their stay at the campsite, whether by altering dates or the type of accommodation. Requests must be made in writing (by post or email) and will be processed based on availability.

Any request for modification cannot be deferred to the following season.

If the client cannot modify their stay, they must either maintain the original booking conditions or cancel according to the conditions provided.

Requests to extend the stay may be accepted subject to availability and applicable rates.

Requests to shorten the stay are considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to cancellation policies.
Unused Services
If a stay is interrupted or shortened for reasons beyond the client’s control (e.g., border closures, campsite closure by administrative order, travel restrictions), the campsite will issue a credit voucher for the unused nights. This voucher is valid for two years.
If the interruption or shortening is due to the client’s initiative (late arrival, early departure), no refund or voucher will be provided.
Cancellation by Les Jardins de l’Authie
In the event of cancellation by the campsite, except in cases of force majeure, all sums paid will be fully refunded. This cancellation does not entitle the client to compensation.
Cancellation by the Camper
Except in cases of force majeure, cancellation by the camper is subject to the following terms:

Cancellation by the camper
a) For the following reasons (preventing the stay):

Border closures by administrative decision

Administrative closure of the campsite

Travel restrictions preventing arrival at the campsite
A credit voucher equal to 100% of the amounts paid, valid for two years, will be issued. If the client refuses the voucher, a refund will be made upon request.
b) For all other reasons:

Case 1: Cancellation up to 16 days before the start of the stay. 30% of the total stay will be retained as cancellation fees. The remaining amount paid will be refunded. If payment was made partially or fully with a voucher exceeding the deposit, a new non-refundable 2-year voucher will be issued for the amount paid minus the 30% deposit.

Case 2: Cancellation between 15 and 8 days before the start. 40% of the total stay is retained as cancellation fees. A voucher for the remaining amount will be issued, valid only at this campsite, non-refundable, for two years.

Case 3: Cancellation between 7 days and the start date. The total amount paid is retained by the campsite. No refund is provided. If the client does not arrive within two days of the start date without informing the campsite, the booking is considered cancelled by the client.
Note: Payments made using holiday vouchers (“Chèques Vacances”) cannot be refunded. A non-refundable voucher, valid for 2 years, will be issued for the amount paid in holiday vouchers, minus any deposit, following the above conditions.
Your Stay
Arrival
If a health pass is required by the government of the country during your stay, all participants must present a valid pass on arrival.

Arrival times for rental accommodation: from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

You will receive the keys and an inventory form, which must be returned to reception within 24 hours.

A €400 deposit and an €80 cleaning deposit are required (cheque or card accepted).
During your stay
Guests must take all necessary precautions to safeguard personal belongings. The campsite is not responsible for incidents under the camper’s civil liability.
All guests must comply with campsite rules. Campers are responsible for any disturbance or damage caused by themselves or their visitors.
Departure
On the departure day, rental accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 am. The accommodation must be clean, and the inventory will be checked. Any damage will be charged, and the deposit will be returned after deductions for any repairs.
If cleaning is not done, the €80 cleaning deposit will be retained. Late departures will incur an additional night charge.
Pets
Pets are welcome for an additional fee. Dogs of the 1st and 2nd category are prohibited. Pets must be on a leash and are not allowed in playgrounds or sanitary areas but are welcome in the reception, bar, and snack area. Vaccination records must be up to date.
Image Consent
By staying at the campsite, you and your companions expressly consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded during your stay. These materials may be used on the website, social media, promotional materials, or travel guides.
This consent is granted free of charge for 5 years and is valid worldwide. The campsite commits to respecting your privacy.
Complaints and Mediation
Any complaints regarding non-compliance with contractual obligations should be sent by post or email to Les Jardins de l’Authie.
In case of dispute, clients may contact the campsite, and if unresolved, a consumer mediator can be contacted within one year:
